The River Anglican Church is a Christ-centered faith community with contemporary worship rooted in ancient practices. We meet in downtown Blacksburg, steps away from Virginia Tech. Each week we gather and devote ourselves to the apostle’s teaching (the Bible), to fellowship, to celebrating communion, and to praying together, just as the early church did (Acts 2:42).

The university group meets after The River worship ends (the service itself runs 9:15- 10:40ish). We have brunch and a guided discussion until noon. Topics have included ‘Why bother going to church?’, various Bible passages, the Apostles Creed, Calvinism vs Arminianism, and much more.
